The Sport of Massage is owned and operated by Suzie Bush, LMBT. She received her training at New Life Institute in Atlanta and has been practicing since 1998. She has earned Certifications in Medical Massage, Kinesio Taping, Sports Massage Techniques and Neuromuscular Therapy. Suzie is state licensed, Nationally Certified and an active member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

Suzie is a runner and enjoys working out, cooking and photography. Her husband has completed both half and full Ironman Triathlons, raced on a local cycling team and now enjoys lifting weights. Their two boys have raced triathlons starting at age 6 and were competetive swimmers, now enjoy high school swim team and functional workouts. As a family they enjoy water skiing and family gym time.

Knowing the benefits of regular massage Suzie believes it should be a part of everyone’s training. She creates a treatment plan and maintains the importance of understanding the goals of each individual client. Her techniques have helped both youth, adult, professional and amateur athletes in their quest to maintain optimal health.

Dagmar graduated from Medical Arts Massage School in Raleigh, NC in 2005.  Her massage training included Deep Tissue, Sports, and Trigger Point Therapy.  Dagmar is licensed in the state of North Carolina and is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals.

Dagmar enjoys martial arts and has earned a 2nd degree black belt in Aikido and is trained in the martial art Capoeira.  She loves the outdoors and likes to spend her free time hiking, mountain biking, running and swimming.  Her two children Nolan and Arwen enjoy swimming and Capoeira.

Dagmar is a firm believer therapeutic massage is essential to maintaining optimal performance and mobility.   She loves to work with people of all ages so that they can stay active and continue to pursue the activities they enjoy.

Emma graduated from The Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC in 2014. She is state licensed, Nationally Certified and an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association. Emma spent the last two years as Soigneur traveling the United States and Canada with a professional cycling team.

Emma enjoys racing her bike in three different disciplines: road, cyclocross, and mountain. She enjoys hiking, playing with her dog, running, yoga, rock climbing, traveling, experiencing foods of different cultures, and horseback riding.

Emma believes massage is a crucial aspect of having an active lifestyle. She enjoys working with individuals of all different ages and activity levels to maintain optimal performance.


Becky DendyBecky Dendy, LMBT, RN, BSN

Becky has enjoyed practicing massage for over 15 years. She graduated from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse, NY in 2002. Her massage training includes Deep Tissue, Sports, Myofascial Release, Reflexology, and Trigger Point Therapy. Becky also works as an Orthopedic Operating Room RN. She assists with surgeries for sport related injuries as well as total joint replacements.  Becky is licensed in the state of North Carolina and is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. When she is not working, she’s usually out in Durham or Raleigh trying a new restaurant or brewery.  She enjoys running/hiking and camping in the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband and their chocolate lab.

Becky enjoys working with clients of all different ages and activity levels to maintain optimal performance and to continue to pursue the activities they enjoy. Massage is a vital part of training for an event or maintaining that peak performance aspect of having an active lifestyle. She feels that her knowledge and years of experience from Massage Therapy as well as Nursing have truly enabled her to have an in-depth understanding of how the body can work and perform at its highest level.
